Destiny: Rise of Iron

Rise of Iron is the forth expansion in the game series by Bungie games. Destiny is a first-person shooter game where you play as the role of a Guardian, Earth's defenders of the last city as they wield immense abilities called Light to protect the city from the different alien races that travel throughout the galaxy. The Guardians mission is to revive the celestial being  known as the Traveller, while travelling across the galaxy to different planets investigating new threats and stop the aliens  from destroying the last of humanity.

With Rise of Iron, one of the alien races, The Fallen, have breached the wall surrounding the Cosmodrone (Old Russia). They've managed to acquire the Siva virus, a nano technology capable of self assembling, giving them new tech and weaponry not seen before in Destiny. The last remaining Iron Lord, Lord Saladin, will lead players through the new campaign and discover the past of the Iron Lords, help reclaim Felwinter's Peak, a new location to the Destiny game, and put to rest the original evil that the Iron Lords had sealed away. Players will be able to set out and become the new generation of Iron Lords in this latest expansion.

Having played  Destiny since its original release, it's come a long way in terms of updates since 2014. Bungie has updated the games Strikes, Raids and Light mechanics for a more easier, fair and enjoyable play. With each expansion you've gained new weapons, armour, story missions and with its third expansion, The Taken King, you gain a new light class that gives you a new super charged ability for those times you get over run by alien forces. Another aid that enables players in connecting with other players for Strikes and Raid missions, Bungie has set up an app called Destiny Companion. Here you can post in forums for help and set up a group Fire Team for online matches and missions. Given all this, Destiny is a franchise that has listened to its fans and made efforts to bring more adventures and a better experience playing with online players, or even just tackling the story mode on your own. Destiny Rise of Iron is available from September 20th.
